The electrical contractor behind the security work
SecureTech started as a team of fire and security engineers, with electrical contracting forming a key part of what we do. Today, we provide a complete range of electrical services across domestic and commercial properties, from additional sockets, consumer unit upgrades and full house rewires through to commercial fit-outs, distribution board upgrades, three-phase installations, containment and external power.
For homeowners, we carry out rewires, consumer unit upgrades, additional circuits, fault finding and EICRs for house sales and lettings. For landlords and managing agents, we provide portfolio-wide EICRs, electrical certification and any remedial works required, with everything properly documented and tracked from start to finish.
Our electrical expertise also allows us to deliver the complete infrastructure behind fire alarms, CCTV, access control and security systems. That means one experienced team can take responsibility for the entire installation, giving our clients a single accountable contractor rather than having to coordinate multiple trades.

Common questions
Do you do domestic electrical work as well as commercial?
Yes. Alongside our commercial and communal contracts we carry out everyday domestic work: rewires, fuse board (consumer unit) upgrades, extra sockets and lighting, fault finding, and EICRs for homeowners, house sales and rented property.
How often is an EICR needed?
For rented residential property an EICR is required at least every five years or at change of tenancy. Owner-occupied homes are commonly tested every ten years or before a sale. Commercial premises are typically tested every five years, or more often for higher-risk environments.
Can you do the remedial work after the EICR?
Yes. We provide a clear, itemised quote for any C1, C2 or FI findings and carry out the remedial works, then re-certify.
Are you registered with a competent person scheme?
Yes, our engineers are NAPIT-registered, so notifiable work is self-certified and building control notification is handled for you.
Do you take on small jobs as well as projects?
Yes. We cover everything from a single socket, light fitting or fuse board in a home through to full commercial installations.
